Chieswema, Nov 29: In a heartwarming initiative to promote youth development, emotional well-being, and cultural engagement, the Assam Rifles organised an Advent Christmas celebration for students of the Nagaland Institute of Educational Development Organisation (NIEDO) at the Capt N Kenguruse Centre of Excellence & Wellness, Chieswema Garrison, Nagaland.

The event commenced with a solemn invocation, followed by the lighting of Advent candles, each symbolising hope, peace, joy, and love, setting a festive and reflective tone for the celebration. The students actively participated, presenting a variety of Christmas carols, musical performances, and reflections on the deeper significance of the season, demonstrating both talent and understanding of the values associated with Christmas.
Interactive sessions and group activities were organised to foster teamwork, unity, compassion, and a spirit of service among the students. These activities not only encouraged participation but also reinforced the importance of community and social responsibility.
The celebration was well-received by the students and staff, highlighting Assam Rifles’ commitment to the holistic development of youth and its effort to blend education with values, culture, and emotional growth.
