In Pallel, Kakching District, Manipur, around 90 Meira Paibis—women’s community leaders—joined troops for a vibrant and joyous celebration. The event included eco-friendly color play, traditional music, and festive games, allowing participants to bond and share the spirit of togetherness. Troops also distributed refreshments and gifts, expressing appreciation for the community’s leadership and social contributions.
Simultaneously, in Hayuliang, Arunachal Pradesh, soldiers engaged with students of Sunrise School, celebrating Holi with colors, songs, and interactive games. The event aimed to strengthen civil-military relations, promote cultural awareness, and provide children with a safe and joyful festive experience.
Commanding officers highlighted that such celebrations are part of ongoing efforts to build trust, reinforce social cohesion, and encourage community participation across the region. School authorities and local leaders lauded the Assam Rifles’ initiative, noting that it created lasting memories and strengthened the bonds between the armed forces and the local population.
