Shillong, June 22: Assam Rifles celebrated Father’s Day at the Headquarters Director General Assam Rifles (DGAR) Laitkor Garrison Church in Shillong, bringing together personnel and their families in a heartfelt tribute to fathers and their invaluable contribution to family and society.

The event, held on June 21, was marked by gratitude, reflection and fellowship, recognising fathers as pillars of strength, guidance and support within families and communities.
A key highlight of the programme was an inspiring address by Mrs. Pensy B. Lalthangliani, a noted musical artist from Mizoram, who spoke about the significance of fatherhood, family values and the enduring impact of a father's love, sacrifice and mentorship in shaping future generations.
