Manipur, Oct 15: Assam Rifles carried out a Special Pulse Polio Vaccination Drive in Kangkap village, one of the remotest areas of Manipur, as part of the National Polio Immunization Programme.

The initiative aimed to safeguard child health and ensure community well-being by bringing essential healthcare services directly to villagers who have limited access to medical facilities. Medical teams administered polio vaccines to children, creating awareness about the importance of immunization and preventive healthcare.
Assam Rifles emphasized its ongoing commitment to supporting national health initiatives and strengthening public health outreach in remote and hard-to-reach regions of the Northeast.
