
Imphal/Churachandpur Oct 2: The Assam Rifles conducted industry-academia interactions across Imphal West and Churachandpur on October 1, engaging with Rudram Dynamics Foundation and Srinivas University on emerging technologies, higher education and skill development.
The engagements followed earlier interactions held in Chandel and Kakching and focused on exploring opportunities for technological collaboration, capacity building and professional development.
At Keithalmanbi Garrison, discussions covered Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), counter-drone technologies and opportunities for personnel to pursue higher education through online programmes. The interaction provided a platform to exchange views on emerging technologies and their potential applications.
At Churachandpur Garrison, the delegation was briefed on AMRITHA, an AI-enabled intelligence fusion platform designed to integrate and analyse information for enhanced situational awareness.
The delegation also reviewed skill-development initiatives for women from internally displaced communities at the Kinepna Centre. The initiative focuses on building skills and creating avenues for greater livelihood opportunities.
