Chandel , Oct 21: Assam Rifles organised a stationery distribution programme at Larong Khullen Government High School in Chandel district of Manipur on October 19, 2026, to support students’ educational needs and encourage learning.

The programme was attended by five teachers and 15 students, who benefited from the initiative aimed at providing essential academic supplies and creating a supportive learning environment.
The distribution drive sought to ease students’ basic educational requirements, encourage regular studies and motivate young learners to pursue their academic goals with confidence.
The initiative also highlighted the importance of community participation in education, particularly in supporting students in remote areas where access to essential learning resources can be challenging.
Through such outreach activities, Assam Rifles continues to promote education, youth development and community welfare in the Northeast. The programme also reinforced the force’s efforts to strengthen trust and cooperation with local communities through people-centric initiatives.
