Shillong, Feb 26: In a ceremony marked by pride, gratitude, and camaraderie, Lt Gen Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, Director General of Assam Rifles, felicitated retiring personnel at a Samman Samaroh held at Headquarters DGAR, Laitkor, Shillong. The event recognized the selfless service and dedication of 159 personnel—comprising 2 officers, 66 JCOs, 86 other ranks, and 5 civilian staff members—who are set to retire on February 28, 2026.
