Imphal, May 2: Assam Rifles under Spear Corps organised an academic and awareness programme at Assam Rifles Public School in Senapati district, Manipur, on April 30, 2026, focusing on students, parents, and teachers through counselling and sensitisation sessions.

The initiative included career counselling for students, aimed at guiding them on future educational and professional pathways based on their interests and strengths. Teachers were also sensitised on evolving academic approaches, classroom engagement strategies, and student-centric learning methods.
Parents were engaged through dedicated sessions on parenting guidance, with discussions centred on supporting children’s education, emotional well-being, and overall development in a structured and positive environment.
During the programme, the academic plan for the 2026–27 session was also shared with stakeholders, outlining key learning objectives, curricular activities, and co-curricular opportunities designed to enhance overall student growth.
Officials stated that the initiative reflects Assam Rifles’ continued focus on community engagement and educational support in remote and sensitive regions, aiming to strengthen the academic ecosystem while building stronger coordination between schools, parents, and teachers.
