Roing , April 19: Dao Division under Spear Corps of Assam Rifles organised a career counselling session during the Annual Job Fair at Roing, focusing on guiding local youth towards opportunities in the Armed Forces.

The session aimed to provide students and job seekers with clear information on recruitment procedures, eligibility criteria, and various career pathways available in the Indian Army and other defence services. Personnel from Assam Rifles interacted directly with participants, addressing queries related to physical standards, written examinations, training processes, and long-term career prospects.
Special emphasis was laid on motivating youth from remote and border areas to consider defence services as a stable and honourable career option. The team also highlighted the role of discipline, physical fitness, and preparation strategies required to succeed in armed forces examinations.
Officials said the initiative was part of ongoing efforts by Assam Rifles to engage with youth in Arunachal Pradesh and strengthen awareness about career opportunities in national security services. The interaction also encouraged students to develop leadership qualities and a sense of service towards the nation.
