
Jalukie , July 18: Reinforcing its commitment to the welfare of military families, the Assam Rifles organised a special 'Rubaru' interactive session for the families of serving personnel at Jalukie in Nagaland's Peren district, focusing on emotional well-being, compassionate communication and family resilience.
Held on July 17, the programme was themed "Creative Minds, Compassionate Hearts (Shabdon ka Sparsh – Jo Chot Bhi Dein Aur Marham Bhi Bane)" and aimed to strengthen emotional bonds within military families by highlighting the healing power of thoughtful communication.
The session was conducted by Dr. Vandini Setia, who emphasised the importance of emotional expression, empathy and supportive dialogue in helping families cope with the unique challenges of military life, including prolonged separations, frequent postings and the emotional demands associated with service.
