Agartala , June 28: Assam Rifles organised a Multi-Speciality Medical Camp at Agartala Garrison on 26 June 2026, extending specialised healthcare services to serving personnel, their families, and Ex-Servicemen.

The medical camp offered free specialist consultations in Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, General Medicine, and Nephrology. A team of qualified medical professionals examined patients, provided expert advice, and ensured timely diagnosis and preventive healthcare support.
The initiative was aimed at addressing the healthcare needs of the defence community and ensuring access to quality medical services within the garrison itself. It also helped in early detection of health issues and promoted awareness regarding preventive care and healthy lifestyle practices.
Serving personnel, their dependents, and retired soldiers (Ex-Servicemen) benefited from the camp, which witnessed active participation throughout the day. The facility proved especially useful for families who otherwise face challenges in accessing specialised medical care.
