Athibung, Mar 27: Under its “Friends of the Hills” initiative, Assam Rifles, in collaboration with PHC Athibung, organized a multi-specialty medical camp to provide essential healthcare services to remote border communities.

A team of specialist doctors offered consultations, diagnosis, and treatment across various medical disciplines, ensuring villagers with limited access to healthcare received timely attention. The camp focused on preventive and curative care, addressing common ailments, chronic conditions, and minor emergencies.
The PHC staff played a crucial role in coordinating the event, facilitating patient registration, maintaining records, and supporting doctors throughout the camp. Residents from surrounding villages attended in large numbers, benefiting from free medical check-ups, medications, and health guidance.
