Agartala, Sep 28: The Assam Rifles, under the aegis of Spear Corps, organised a medical camp at Kanchanbari in Tripura, extending essential healthcare services to residents of the remote area.

More than 350 villagers benefited from comprehensive medical check-ups and other healthcare services provided during the camp.
The initiative was aimed at taking basic medical facilities closer to rural communities and addressing the healthcare needs of people living in areas where access to specialised services can be challenging.
Medical personnel attending the camp conducted health examinations and provided necessary medical assistance to the villagers. The programme also provided an opportunity for residents to seek medical advice and guidance on maintaining better health.
The Assam Rifles said such community outreach initiatives reflect its continued commitment to the welfare and well-being of the local population.
