
Imphal, June 14: Assam Rifles, in collaboration with Spearhealers under Spear Corps, organized a series of medical camps across the Northeast region to provide essential healthcare services to local communities.
The camps were held at Imphal West in Manipur, CIJW School in Vairengte, and Phainuam in Mizoram. These initiatives brought together dedicated military and civil medical teams who worked jointly to extend medical assistance to people in remote and underserved areas.
A wide range of healthcare services was provided during the camps, including general medical check-ups, consultation, and distribution of free medicines. In total, more than 850 patients and beneficiaries received treatment and support.
The initiative reflects the Assam Rifles’ continued commitment to humanitarian outreach and community welfare in the region, alongside its primary role in maintaining security and stability in the Northeast.
