Imphal, July 10: Assam Rifles organised a comprehensive community outreach programme at Yumnam Khunou village in Imphal East district of Manipur on July 9, providing a platform for direct interaction between security forces and local residents to address security concerns and strengthen public confidence.

Organised against the backdrop of the prevailing security situation in the region, the initiative aimed to foster trust, encourage dialogue, and enhance cooperation between the local community and security agencies.
During the interactive session, villagers shared concerns related to everyday movement, local security, and the challenges posed by the prevailing law and order situation. The force reiterated its commitment to maintaining close engagement with local communities through regular outreach programmes aimed at promoting mutual trust, ensuring public safety, and strengthening the security environment.
