Dimapur, Mar 26: In a proactive move to enhance civil-military coordination, the AssamRifles under the SpearCorps conducted a series of security meetings at key locations in the northeast, including Kaiphundai in Tamenglong district of Manipur and Tening in Nagaland.

The meetings brought together local community leaders, including Gaon Buras, Village Chairmen, and representatives from Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), to discuss regional security concerns, public safety measures, and strategies to strengthen cooperation between the armed forces and civilian communities.
Officials from Assam Rifles highlighted the importance of civil-military synergy in maintaining peace, preventing insurgency activities, and ensuring timely reporting of any suspicious movements or incidents.
