Assam Rifles holds vigilance awareness drive in Nagaland

In a bid to foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and integrity, Assam Rifles (North) organized a Vigilance Awareness Programme at No. 1 Workshop, Dimapur. The event, held on 3rd September 2025, witnessed the participation of 71 personnel, including 8 Junior Commissioned Officers (JCOs) and 63 Other Ranks (ORs).

The programme focused on promoting ethical conduct, vigilance in routine duties, and the prevention of corruption within the force. A detailed lecture was delivered, highlighting the importance of individual responsibility in maintaining institutional integrity and upholding the values that the Assam Rifles represents.
Officers emphasized that vigilance is not a one-time effort but a continuous process that must be practiced at every level of functioning—administrative, operational, and logistical. Personnel were sensitized to identifying early signs of misconduct, understanding the impact of unethical behavior, and adopting preventive vigilance measures.
