
Moreh, June 17: In a step towards promoting holistic wellness and community engagement ahead of the International Day of Yoga 2026, the Assam Rifles under Spear Corps organised mass yoga sessions at Moreh and Kwatha in Manipur’s Tengnoupal district on Wednesday.
The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 890 people, including local residents, youth and security personnel, reflecting growing awareness about physical and mental well-being in the region.
The sessions were conducted in serene outdoor settings, where trained instructors guided participants through various yoga asanas, breathing techniques and meditation practices aimed at improving physical fitness, mental resilience and emotional balance.
