Changlang, Mar 31: The SC Changlang Battalion of Assam Rifles held a solemn wreath-laying ceremony to pay tribute to Rfn Til Bahadur Gurung, SC (Late), who made the ultimate sacrifice on March 30, 1951, at Kamru, Nagaland, while engaged in counter-insurgency operations.

The ceremony began with the Commandant of the battalion laying a wreath in honor of the fallen soldier, symbolizing respect and remembrance for his bravery. All ranks of the unit gathered to participate, reflecting the deep reverence for their comrade.
Addressing the personnel, the Commandant recounted the inspiring story of Rfn Gurung, emphasizing his courage, selflessness, and steadfast commitment to duty. The narrative highlighted how his actions in the line of duty exemplify the highest traditions of the Assam Rifles and serve as a lasting inspiration to all serving soldiers.
