Mimi, Dec 18: Assam Rifles, in collaboration with the Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Government of Nagaland, and the Vavade Awakening Club, successfully organized the 3rd edition of the Vavade Cup from 16 to 17 December 2025 at Mimi.

The tournament featured enthusiastic participation from 11 teams representing eight villages, along with teams fielded by Assam Rifles. The event was designed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship among the youth, while fostering unity and healthy competition in the region.
Participants and spectators alike embraced the spirit of the tournament, which highlighted the importance of community engagement, youth development, and harmony through sports.
