Ghaspani , Jan 7: Assam Rifles organised a “Rubaru” Mental Wellness Session for the families of its personnel at Ghaspani Garrison on 06 January 2026. The programme, themed “Mera Wajood, Suno Meri Awaaz,” saw participation from sixty families, aiming to promote emotional resilience and well-being among the Army community.

Led by psychology counsellor Mrs. Saloni, the session provided a safe and supportive environment for participants to openly discuss challenges related to anxiety, parenting stress, fatigue, communication gaps, and the strain of long separations due to service commitments. Families were encouraged to share experiences, identify coping strategies, and strengthen interpersonal support systems.
The initiative reflects Assam Rifles’ proactive approach toward holistic care, acknowledging that the mental wellness of personnel and their families is integral to operational readiness and overall morale.
