Lekhapani, June 29: Assam Rifles under Spear Corps convened the Quarterly Operational Group Meeting at Lekhapani, bringing together senior representatives of the Indian Army, Assam Police and various intelligence agencies to review the prevailing security situation in the region.

The meeting focused on assessing the current operational environment and reviewing preparedness levels across agencies in view of evolving security challenges. Senior officers discussed recent developments, threat perceptions, and the need for enhanced coordination among all stakeholders.
A key emphasis of the deliberations was strengthening inter-agency synergy through improved intelligence sharing and coordinated operational planning. Officials underlined that timely exchange of actionable inputs remains crucial for effective ground-level response and preventive security measures.
