Assam Rifles IG inspires NIEDO students in AP

Jairampur , May 8: Major General Harinder Singh Mavi, Inspector General of Assam Rifles (North), interacted with students of NIEDO at the Patkai 30 Centre of Excellence in Jairampur, Changlang district, to encourage them to pursue academic excellence and develop a strong sense of civic responsibility.

During the interactive session, the General Officer highlighted the importance of discipline, determination, education, and leadership in shaping responsible citizens and contributing to nation-building. He urged students to remain focused on their goals and to actively develop qualities that would prepare them for future leadership roles.
Students participated enthusiastically in the session, engaging in discussions on a wide range of topics including career opportunities, higher education pathways, leadership skills, and service to the nation. The interaction also provided them an opportunity to seek guidance on personal development and future aspirations.
The Assam Rifles officer stressed that the youth of the region play a vital role in strengthening society and that education, combined with character and discipline, is key to unlocking their potential.
The visit was aimed at motivating students in remote areas and reinforcing the importance of education as a tool for empowerment and national development.
