Imphal, July 19: The Assam Rifles, under the Spear Corps, organised 'A Day with Company Commander' for students at Azuiram and Khongsang in Manipur, providing young participants with an opportunity to interact with soldiers and gain valuable insights into discipline, leadership and the spirit of national service.

The outreach programme aimed to strengthen the bond between the armed forces and local communities while encouraging students to develop qualities such as patriotism, teamwork, confidence and creativity.
A series of sports competitions formed a key part of the programme, with students enthusiastically participating in various events that promoted physical fitness, healthy competition and team spirit.
