
Nampong, Feb 9: The Assam Rifles–Indian Coast Guard Joint Bike Rally, Samudra se Parvat Tak, successfully concluded its Phase II journey on February 9, 2026. Organized under the Spear Corps of Assam Rifles, the rally covered challenging terrains from the plains to the high mountains, symbolizing national integration and unity.
On the final day, participants rode from Jairampur to the Higher Secondary School in Nampong, where personnel engaged with students and local residents. Motivational talks and screenings of inspirational films highlighted themes of discipline, patriotism, and leadership, aiming to inspire the youth of Arunachal Pradesh.
The rally culminated at the historic Pangsau Pass, a symbolic gateway connecting the mountains to the plains, where the DIG of Assam Rifles flagged off the final leg of the journey.
