Itangar, Mar 18: Khonsa Battalion of AssamRifles undertook a humanitarian initiative on 15 March 2026 in Khonsa, Arunachal Pradesh, providing artificial limbs to specially-abled individuals from Tirap and Longding districts. The event aimed to support community welfare, promote inclusivity, and enhance the quality of life for beneficiaries.

During the distribution drive, specially-abled recipients were fitted with artificial limbs, enabling greater mobility, independence, and participation in daily activities. Medical personnel and AssamRifles teams assisted in ensuring proper usage and comfort for each individual.
