Kiphire, Sep 30: Assam Rifles organised a cleanliness drive under the Swachh Bharat Mission–Swachhata Hi Seva 2026 at Kiphire in Nagaland, in collaboration with Cambridge High School, Kiphire.

The cleanliness campaign was conducted on September 29 and witnessed the participation of 80 students and 12 Assam Rifles personnel.
The participants undertook cleanliness activities across the school premises, public roads and market areas, removing waste and promoting better hygiene and sanitation practices.
The initiative sought to encourage students to actively participate in community cleanliness efforts while creating greater awareness about environmental protection and responsible waste management.
The participation of school students also highlighted the importance of instilling civic responsibility and cleanliness habits among younger generations.
Assam Rifles said such community-oriented activities form part of its efforts to engage with local residents and encourage collective participation in initiatives aimed at improving the surrounding environment.
The drive concluded with an emphasis on maintaining clean public spaces and encouraging continued community involvement in sanitation and environmental protection.
