Shamator Battalion of AssamRifles organised a motivational lecture on 27 March 2026 at Wui Village, Nagaland, aimed at inspiring local youth to consider careers in the Armed Forces. The programme focused on instilling patriotism, discipline, and a sense of responsibility among the participants while providing guidance on professional opportunities in the military.

A total of 28 local youths attended the session, where they received detailed briefings on various entry schemes, eligibility criteria, recruitment procedures, and career prospects within the Armed Forces. The lecture also highlighted the personal and professional benefits of joining the military, emphasizing service to the nation as a source of pride and fulfilment.
Officials from Assam Rifles engaged with the youths, addressing their queries and offering practical advice on preparation and pathways for selection. The initiative forms part of the Assam Rifles’ ongoing efforts to promote youth empowerment, career guidance, and community outreach in remote and strategic regions.
