Assam Rifles observes anti-terrorism day in Meluri

Ziphu , May 8: Assam Rifles conducted a lecture session on National Anti-Terrorism Day at Government Middle School, Ziphu, aimed at spreading awareness on peace, unity, and national security.

The programme was attended by 23 participants, including students and teachers. During the session, Assam Rifles personnel highlighted the dangers posed by terrorism and stressed the importance of responsible citizenship in maintaining social harmony and national integrity.
Officials also emphasized the role of community cooperation in ensuring peace and security, encouraging students to remain vigilant, informed, and committed to values that strengthen unity.
The interactive format of the programme allowed students to actively engage in discussions, ask questions, and share their views on maintaining harmony within society.
The initiative concluded with a reaffirmation of Assam Rifles’ commitment to fostering national integration, resilience, and closer engagement with local communities through awareness-driven outreach programmes.
