Nambol, June 21 : Assam Rifles under SpearCorps organised a community outreach programme at Nambol in Bishnupur district, reinforcing its commitment to peace, youth development and community engagement in the region.

The programme witnessed active participation of Meira Paibis and local residents, who engaged in constructive interaction with Assam Rifles personnel on key social issues affecting the area. The discussions primarily focused on youth development, strengthening educational awareness, and collective measures to prevent substance abuse among young people.
Participants and community leaders also deliberated on the crucial role of civil society in guiding the younger generation towards constructive activities, skill development and positive social engagement. Emphasis was laid on the importance of education as a tool for empowerment and long-term stability in society.
