
Churachandpur, Dec 30: Continuing its humanitarian outreach under Operation Sadhbavana, Assam Rifles troops from Spear Corps organized a Mega Medical and Dental Aid Camp at Saikot, Churachandpur, Manipur, providing much-needed healthcare services to the local population.
The camp benefited 661 residents, offering specialist medical consultations, dental care, essential medicines, and health counselling. The initiative aimed to address common health issues, raise awareness on preventive healthcare, and improve overall community well-being.
In addition to medical services, the camp extended support to local youth football teams by providing sports medical kits, promoting safe participation in sports activities and encouraging physical fitness among youngsters.
Officials highlighted that such initiatives strengthen civil-military relations, foster trust with local communities, and demonstrate Assam Rifles’ commitment to the welfare of people in remote and underserved areas of Manipur.
The camp forms part of a broader series of humanitarian efforts by Assam Rifles under Op Sadhbavana, aimed at supporting health, education, and social development in North-East India.
