Kohima, Aug 9: Assam Rifles on Sunday paid solemn tribute to its brave personnel who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty on August 9.

Director General Assam Rifles Lt Gen Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, along with all ranks of the force, saluted the courage, dedication and sacrifice of the fallen soldiers who laid down their lives in service of the nation.
The force remembered the martyrs for their unwavering commitment to duty and their readiness to serve in challenging operational environments. Their sacrifices, Assam Rifles said, remain an enduring source of inspiration for serving personnel and future generations.
