New Delhi, Sep 5: Director General of Assam Rifles Lt Gen Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, along with all ranks of the force, on Friday paid solemn tribute to the brave soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty on September 5.

Remembering the fallen personnel, Lt Gen Lakhera and the ranks of Assam Rifles saluted their courage, devotion to duty and unwavering commitment to the nation. The tribute honoured the sacrifices of those who laid down their lives while performing their duties in the service of the country.
