Shillong, Oct 25: Lieutenant General Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, Director General of Assam Rifles, along with all ranks of the force, paid tribute to the brave soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty on October 25.

The force remembered the fallen personnel for their courage, dedication and unwavering commitment to safeguarding the nation, honouring their service and sacrifice in the line of duty.
The tribute reaffirmed Assam Rifles’ deep respect for its personnel who laid down their lives while discharging their responsibilities. Their valour and devotion to duty continue to inspire serving soldiers and future generations.
The Director General and all ranks expressed solidarity with the families of the fallen heroes, acknowledging the immense sacrifices made by them in the service of the country.
The solemn remembrance highlighted the enduring traditions of courage, honour and selfless service that define Assam Rifles and its commitment to national security.
