Assam Rifles pays tribute to fallen soldiers

Shillong, May 13: Lieutenant General Vikas Lakhera, AVSM, SM, Director General of Assam Rifles, along with all ranks of the force, paid solemn tribute to the brave soldiers who made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty on May 13.

The tribute was marked with deep respect and remembrance, honouring the courage, dedication, and selfless service of personnel who laid down their lives while safeguarding the nation’s integrity and security.
The Director General and senior leadership of Assam Rifles led the homage, acknowledging the invaluable contribution of the fallen heroes whose sacrifice continues to inspire generations of soldiers serving in challenging operational environments.
