Assam Rifles, police contain Deomali fire

Deomali, July 11: Assam Rifles, under the aegis of Spear Corps, in coordination with Tirap Police and the Fire Services Department, mounted a swift rescue and relief operation following a fire incident in Deomali town of Tirap district, Arunachal Pradesh.

Acting promptly after receiving information about the blaze, personnel of Assam Rifles rushed to the spot and joined hands with the police and fire service teams to control the fire and assist those affected.
The coordinated response helped contain the flames before they could spread further, preventing extensive damage to nearby structures and ensuring the safety of residents in the area.
During the operation, rescue teams worked efficiently to secure the affected site, facilitate firefighting efforts and provide immediate assistance to local authorities. Their timely intervention played a crucial role in minimising losses and restoring normalcy.
Local residents appreciated the prompt response and coordinated efforts of the security forces and emergency services in tackling the emergency.
Officials said the operation once again demonstrated Assam Rifles' commitment to humanitarian assistance, disaster response and community welfare. They added that the force remains prepared to respond swiftly to emergencies while continuing to strengthen its partnership with civil administration and local communities in the region.
