Khonsa, May 17: The Khonsa Battalion of Assam Rifles swiftly responded to a road accident at Borduria in Tirap district, providing immediate rescue and medical assistance to two injured persons.

Despite difficult terrain and challenging conditions, troops reached the accident site without delay. They carried out vehicle recovery operations and provided first aid to the injured on the spot.
Following initial medical assistance, the injured individuals were safely evacuated to a nearby medical facility for further treatment.
The prompt action by Assam Rifles personnel helped prevent further deterioration of the victims’ condition and ensured timely medical care.
Officials said the operation once again reflects the force’s commitment to humanitarian assistance and its consistent role in supporting local communities during emergencies, in addition to its operational responsibilities in the region.
