Srinagar, April 2: The AssamRifles, under SpearCorps, conducted a weapon display during the academic engagement event “Yantraksh” at Assam University, highlighting the military’s operational capabilities and fostering awareness among students.

The display featured a range of modern firearms, tactical equipment, and demonstrations of handling and safety protocols, giving students an insight into defence technology and preparedness. Officers and personnel engaged with the youth, explaining the role of the armed forces in national security and the importance of discipline, teamwork, and leadership.
The initiative aimed to inspire students to explore career opportunities in defence services while promoting an understanding of the military’s contribution to peace and stability. Faculty and participants lauded the event for combining education with practical exposure to defence operations.
