Churachandpur, Sep 17: Assam Rifles successfully concluded a two-month pre-training programme for Agniveer aspirants at Veng in Churachandpur district, preparing local youth for the upcoming recruitment process.

The training programme, conducted from July 16 to September 15, saw the participation of 44 male candidates.
The structured programme focused on physical fitness, basic military orientation, discipline and guidance aligned with the Agniveer selection process. The aspirants were provided training aimed at strengthening their physical preparedness and familiarising them with the requirements of the recruitment process.
The initiative was designed to help candidates improve their fitness, confidence and resilience ahead of the recruitment rally.
Through such programmes, Assam Rifles continues to engage with youth in the region and support their efforts to pursue opportunities in the armed forces.
The pre-training initiative also reflects the force’s focus on community outreach and youth development in the North East, alongside its operational responsibilities.
Assam Rifles said such efforts are aimed at encouraging young people to pursue disciplined careers and helping aspiring candidates prepare systematically for recruitment opportunities.
