Jalukie, Oct 25: Assam Rifles, under Spear Corps, conducted a two-day drone training capsule for National Cadet Corps (NCC) cadets at Jalukie in Nagaland, focusing on technical skill development and youth empowerment.
The training programme provided cadets with practical exposure to drone technology through simulator-based training, familiarisation with drone components and outdoor flying demonstrations.
The hands-on sessions enabled participants to understand the basic functioning of drones, their components and operational techniques, while offering them an opportunity to experience drone flying in a supervised environment.
The initiative aimed to promote technological awareness among young people and equip them with skills relevant to emerging fields. It also sought to encourage curiosity, practical learning and interest in technology among NCC cadets.
The programme reflects Assam Rifles’ continued efforts to engage with local youth through educational and skill-development initiatives, helping them explore new learning opportunities and build technical capabilities.
Through such activities, Assam Rifles under Spear Corps reaffirmed its commitment to youth empowerment and capacity building in the Northeast, while encouraging young people to embrace innovation and emerging technologies.
