Kohima, Nov 27: In a major step to enhance healthcare access in remote border areas, AssamRifles inaugurated the upgraded Public Health Centre (PHC) at Mimi village in Kiphire district, Nagaland, on 25 November 2025. This initiative, conducted under OpSadbhavana, reflects the Assam Rifles’ continued commitment to improving the quality of life and delivery of essential services in the Indo-Myanmar border region.

The upgraded PHC is equipped with modern medical facilities, improved infrastructure, and trained healthcare personnel, enabling residents to receive timely and better medical care without traveling long distances. Local villagers expressed gratitude to the Assam Rifles for their sustained support, noting that such initiatives strengthen community trust and welfare in strategic and remote areas.
