Srinagar, July 1: The Association of Terror Victims in Kashmir (ATVK) is the first organization from Jammu and Kashmir that has consistently raised its voice and fought for the rights and dignity of terror victims on international platforms, including at the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC).
ATVK has also conducted extensive surveys across the Kashmir region to document the realities and struggles of terror victim families, bringing their unheard stories to national and international attention.
ATVK has been unwavering in its mission to demand justice, basic rights, fundamental rights, rehabilitation, education, upliftment, humanity, nonviolence, and peace for the countless victims of terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
ATVK has openly taken a stand against terrorism in all its forms and has courageously exposed how Pakistan-sponsored terrorism and Pakistan-backed organizations have killed innocent civilians in Jammu and Kashmir, tearing apart families and communities.
We always remind the world, along with our beloved Indian nation, that terror victims are the real heroes of our country. By blood and by heart, they have believed in Indian democracy, the Indian Constitution, and the spirit of nation-building. They sacrificed their entire lives in the service of our motherland.
We will never forget the sacrifices of these beloved heroes. They are always alive in our hearts.
ATVK stands as the unwavering voice of terror victims in Kashmir and will continue to fight for their rights at the global level.
We are truly thankful to the Government of India, the Indian Constitution, our democratic institutions, and Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha Ji for finally listening to the voice of ATVK and acknowledging the struggle and contributions of terror victims.
