Islam bestows a man with the capacity to transcend himself through knowledge and love that is, to reach at the stage where he is aware about the self to project and practice the life with the 'will' of Almighty Allah.
Islam is the religion which guides a man spiritually rather than physical endowments and helps in developing a relationship between "what ones of Allah is and what everything matters" The fact is that no religion other than Islam has complete ownership in terms of faith and spiritual guidance.
In the matter of owing spiritual strength and firm belief Islam has produced great religious followers who have been often treated the most respected figures in their community. With great faith and devotion towards religion, this helps the followers in shaping attitudes, opinions and behavior.
At our district level Dae Ab Rashid Nagbal was a person having austerity and rigidly puritanical in outlook, raised awareness and influence attitudes, behaviour and practices of the common people towards religion. He has shaped social values in line with faith-based teachings and called them towards Almighty Allah. He motivated and educated the followers of religion to adopt other healthy behavior that are compatible to the religion.
He has the ability to regulate and express the emotions with good understanding and respond them skillfully, he used strategies and tactics while dealing with anger and threat. He was having firm belief over the greatest Dae, Prophet Muhammad (SAW), who called the entire Ummah towards peaceful religion with the strategy that how to deal with the arrogance and irrational behavior by arrogant persons.
Islam as a whole is a religion of peace and prosperity which strictly followed by Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and faced critiques by portraying the reality of the Islam. Surely Dae Ab Rashid Nagbal as a follower has faced consistent hardships , abuse and humiliation at the hands of arrogant and still he was raising his simple but profound message that there is no god but Allah and Prophet Muhammad( SAW) is His Messenger.
He believed that the ripple effects of acting out in an emotional way in Dawah usually provoke more anger, which leads to more difficulty and the consequences of using the emotionalism can be even more dangerous.
There is huge range of tactics and strategies he used to deal with the arrogance and rudeness of the common people that includes the good understanding and regulation of challenging emotions like fear and anger and cultivate wholesome emotions like kindness, forgiveness and compassion and most importantly by following the instructions of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
During our Kharooj in our own area of Tral, he was accompanied with me .We have encountered number of persons with irrational and insolent behaviour but He dealt with them without turbulence of emotions. He used to convince them, other than to invite them to the Masjid, Alhamdulillah they came back with deep satisfaction, build close connections to him. He has firm belief that the Masjid is the place where angelic and enlightening atmosphere gradually change the ruthless behaviour of any person without any protestation or challenge. Purposely this has lead fruitful results to him without any tiresome work.
Seeking forgiveness and forgiving others, compassion and kindness are challenging ways to deal with anger and arrogance of people was the real character of Dae Ab Rashid Nagbal. He believed that Dawah teaches us to be tolerant, reducing anger and jealousness the way prophet Muhammad (SAW) has done in his life.
I remind one of his talks that Our Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was mercy to all human beings, regardless of their religious, racial, cultural or ethnic background and urged us to live and spread this message to one and all.
Having to deal with sight loss or low vision is one of the challenges that he was facing while going door to door and hasn't compromised any of the takaza from the Markaz.
Ab Rashid Nagbal was a man knowing everything what is right and wrong . He deals with others with integrity and honestly. Temptation presents itself to every man, but the decisions and actions he has taken in light of Quran and Sunnah, significantly determines his manhood.
May Allah grant the departed soul a highest place in Jannah!
