A delegation of BJP leaders led by Sat Sharma, President, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu Kashmir called on the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday.
The delegation comprised Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Organisation) J&K, and Ms Sanjita Dogra, Shri Baldev Singh Billawaria and Gopal Mahajan-General Secretaries BJP J&K UT, discussed the flood situation and damages due to heavy rain.
They also put forth various important matters pertaining to the welfare of people affected by the natural calamities in the region, including a special compensation package for restoration of damaged property and infrastructure.
