A young and prominent journalist Javid Ahmad passes away on Wednesday due to massive cardiac arrest on way his Watergam residence to Srinagar.

After reaching Pattan he suddenly developed chest pain and fell unconscious he was immediately rushed to nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead.
Javid was associated with daily Rising Kashmir from couple of years. He was promising and dedicated to his work as journalist he delivered a lot for promotion of journalism in Kashmir. His loss has created vacuum in Kashmir media fraternity .The departed soul will be remembered for his generosity and philanthropist nature. May Allah shower the departed soul with eternal blessings and grant her Jannat_ul_Firdos.
Jammu Kashmir Editors Forum (JKEF) expressed deep sorrow over the death of Javid Ahmad.
In this moment of grief JKEF stands with the bereaved family and prayed to Almighty Allah to grant them strength to bear the loss .
JKEF sympathized with his family ; and prayed to Almightly Allah for the peace of the deceased soul. Meanwhile, JKEF expressed his solidarity and sympathy withhis family .May his soul rest in peace”.Ameen
Meanwhile , a condolence meeting was held at BK office which culminated after half an hour prayed for the eternal peace to journalist Javid Ahmad of Watergam Baramulla
He also paid him rich tributes for his contribution as the journalist .The BK staff conveyed his sympathies to the bereaved family while praying for his eternal solace.
