A civilian was injured in a grenade blast in Srinagar’s old city on Sunday evening, police said.
The grenade was lobbed towards a CRPF in Hawal area which missed the target.
“There was an attempt to throw grenade on a CRPF vehicle in crowded area of MK chowk it missed target & caused minor splinter injury to one local boy,” a police tweet said. It added that operations have been launched in the area to nab the culprit.
