The Youth in the valley are seen playing sports with enthusiasm in the playgrounds and the same Youth Services and Sports Department also leaves no stone unturned in feeding the childrens at the school level and thus the staff from Junior to Senior level in the department are seen busy in feeding the childrens at the ground level.Under the same link, the department started the Inter-District Volleyball Under-14 Boys Category Tournament at the Sports Stadium Chari Sharief in Budgam district of Central Kashmir and in which 110 players from Ten districts of the Kashmir Valley were seen participating in the tournament.At the Inauguration ceremony of this event, the District Officer of the department, Ghulam Hassan Lone, attended as the Chief Guest and inaugurated the tournament.On this occasion, Zonal Physical Officer Jahan Ara, apart from the department, Senior officials of the UT were also present.At the opening ceremony, the officer urged all the childrens to increase their interest in sports and the officer Congratulated all the participating teams from all over Kashmir and expressed pride in hosting such prestigious competitions of UT level in Budgam district.To ensure merit based selections,expert technical committee selectors appointed by the department monitored performances throughout the matches.
