Srinagar, May 1: Foundation World School will organise a cross-country run for students of Grades 3 to 12 in Budgam on May 2 and 3, officials said.

According to the schedule, the event for girls (Grades 3 to 12) will be held on May 2, while boys of the same grades will participate on May 3.
The junior category (Grades 3 and 4) will begin at 6:30 am, with the flag-off by Senior Superintendent of Police Budgam, Hariprasad KK. The run will start near the SP Office, Budgam, and conclude at Budgam Stadium via Pallar.
The senior category (Grades 5 to 12) will start at 6:50 am, also to be flagged off by the SSP Budgam. Participants will begin from the New Bus Stand, Budgam, passing through the SP Office before reaching Budgam Stadium via Pallar.
Officials said the event is aimed at promoting physical fitness and sports culture among students.
