A delegation of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Kashmir (CCIK), led by its President Tariq Ghani, today held an important meeting with the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anshul Garg, wherein several issues related to general trade, hoteliers, houseboat owners, industries, and other allied sectors were discussed.

The delegation apprised the Divisional Commissioner of the challenges being faced by various stakeholders Especially winter tourism .The Divisional Commissioner assured the delegation of positive outcomes and full support from the administration to address the genuine concerns of the trade and business community.
During the meeting, special emphasis was laid on illumination and beautification of major tourist destinations especially Gulmarg Sonmarg Phalgham and sringar to attract more tourists Cultural Programmes,handicraft excibition and
food festivals should be held on the eve of Christmas and New Year, which was agreed to be a significant step towards boosting tourism and creating a festive atmosphere in the Valley.
