There is a well known dictum, “ Cleanliness is next to Godliness” and Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, “ cleanliness is half of faith in islam.” Cleanliness is a quality associated with humans who have been regarded as the most honourable creatures on the earth. So as a human one can not bear to neglect the importance of cleanliness in one’s life and it is both an individual as well as collective responsibility as a member of the society to keep ourselves as well as our surroundings clean and at the same time exhort others to develop cleanliness habits for setting a tidy and healthy society. Since each and every religion teaches its followers to not only keep your selves, your clothes, your home and your surroundings clean but also keep your spirit clean as well. For that you first need to keep your thinking clean and that takes you to the state of being a believer. A clean and tidy person is liked by one and all and an untidy person is always looked down upon in the society.
