The earth has experienced a constantly changing climate in time since plants first evolved in comparasion to the present day
Climate change is any long-term significant change in the "average wheather" of a region or the earth as a whole. Average wheather may be include average temperature, precipitation and wind patterns etc.It involves Change in the variability or average state of the atmosphere over durations ranging from decades to millions of years. These changes can be caused by dynamic process on earth, external forces including variations in sunlight intensity and more recently by human activities
Some of the Factors
The most important factor that is responsible for climate change is "greenhouse effect " as it relates to the gases which keep the earth warm. This greenhouse effect related to global warming is the main cause of the changing climate patterns as it effects all the other factors responsible for the particular climate pattern and the climate change. The earth has experienced a constantly changing climate in time since plants first evolved in comparasion to the present day,the history has seen earth as cooler ,warmer, drier and wetter and CO2 concentration have been both higher and lower. These changes have been reflected by constant shifting vegetation eg forest communities dominating most areas in interglacial periods and herbaceous communities dominating most during glacial periods. It has been shown the past climate has been a major driver of the processes of speciation and extinction .The best example of this is the carboniferous rainforest collapse which occured 350 million years ago.
Global Warming is the Global Warming
Global warming will be more dangerous than 3rd world war,it will change ecosystems totally.
Some Agents and Ways which Cause Degradation of plants:
1.The soot and smoke material settles on leaves and reduce the rate of photosynthesis
2. Hydrocarbons lead to premature leaf fall and fruit drop(abscission).
3. Nitrates damage leaves etc
We have to work hard to save our environment, so that eco balance will go straightly and accordingly.
