
Dimapur, May 6: The Indian Coast Guard Air Station at Daman inaugurated a newly constructed auditorium on 05 May 2026 in a ceremony that reflected strong inter-service camaraderie and a shared commitment to institutional development.
The facility was inaugurated by Subedar (GD) P H Moses of 1 Assam Rifles, a Shaurya Chakra awardee, in the presence of Inspector General Bhisham Sharma, PTM, TM, Commander Coast Guard Region (West). The occasion symbolized the deepening ties between the Assam Rifles and the Indian Coast Guard, underscoring cooperation and mutual respect between the two forces.
Designed with a seating capacity of 300, the modern auditorium is equipped to host a range of professional and community-oriented activities, including seminars, service lectures, and flight safety sessions.
